I’m Storie Hawkins-Moss, a Houston-based artist who loves creating work that connects people. I work in many mediums, but acrylic and oil painting are my favorites. My art often reflects how we relate to each other and to the world, exploring ideas around equality, society, and our connection with nature, sometimes with a surreal or reflective twist.
I’ve taught with the Children’s Prison Arts Project and developed summer programs. I also make murals, collaborate with local artists and businesses, and share my work in public art projects and local shows—including the Wimberly Watershed Association and the Art Car Parade with the "Tribute to the Flowerman" Bike Group.
When I’m not making art, I love spending time with my family and my cat, Foofah. Art, for me, is a way to connect, communicate, and reflect on the world—and I feel lucky to share it with my Houston community.
